The nine of us? We disagree about a lot of things: balancing the budget, allocating funds for education, favorite color; the list goes on. Yep, we're a regular Motley Crew of people who definitely don't think the same things and disagree with each other and have arguments.
But there is one issue that we can all agree on: We must not allow Sherry Lipton to become our Mayor.
Sherry Lipton has never held political office before. She has never attended a public debate or held any kind of position of power since she was elected class President in the second grade (and, word is, she did a terrible job at it). And now she wants to be our Mayor?
Sure she has something call "a platform" and heck, some of her ideas are so good we might even steal them, but goshdarnit, Chesterfield Ridge needs a true leader to help us navigate through these troubled times. Not some wannabe off the streets who wouldn't know a courthouse from a stupidhouse. Though we agree on little else, all of us can easily see that Sherry Lipton is grossly underqualified and cannot be elected Mayor of our fair town.
